Recently, we were honored to welcome a client from Malaysia to our manufacturing facility for a comprehensive factory visit and technical exchange. During the visit, the client inspected a wide range of fiberglass (FRP / GRP) products, including FRP pipes, FRP manhole covers, trench covers, integrated FRP pump stations, roofing sheets, and pultruded structural profiles.
Addressing Market Challenges in Malaysia's Humid Climate
During discussions, the client shared key market challenges in Malaysia. Due to the humid climate and long rainy seasons, many conventional building materials suffer from water leakage, corrosion, and aging over time. Roofing systems, in particular, require strong waterproof performance and long-term durability.
Our FRP roofing sheets (resin roofing tiles) attracted strong interest from the client. These roofing sheets offer excellent waterproof and weather-resistant performance, making them suitable for tropical environments. In addition, their clean appearance and customizable colors allow architects and project owners to achieve both functional and aesthetic goals.
FRP Pipes for Water, Sewage, and Industrial Applications
The client also visited our FRP pipe production workshop, where they reviewed manufacturing processes, structural design, and finished products. FRP pipes are widely used in wastewater treatment plants, sewage systems, water supply projects, and industrial pipelines, especially in corrosive and humid environments.
Thanks to their corrosion resistance, lightweight structure, and long service life, FRP pipes are increasingly chosen as a reliable alternative to traditional steel pipes in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
Municipal Products and Integrated Pump Stations
In the municipal product area, the client inspected our FRP manhole covers and trench covers, which are commonly used in road infrastructure and drainage systems. These products provide stable strength, corrosion resistance, and low maintenance requirements.
The visit also included a detailed review of our FRP integrated pump stations, which are widely applied in sewage lifting and drainage projects. Integrated pump stations offer compact design, easy installation, and efficient operation, making them suitable for municipal and environmental projects.
Pultruded FRP Profiles and Structural Beams
The client further explored our range of pultruded FRP profiles, including FRP I-beams, channels, square tubes, round tubes, and custom profiles. These structural components are often used in platforms, walkways, support frames, and FRP cover systems, forming a complete fiberglass structural solution.
Pultruded FRP profiles are especially suitable for corrosive and high-humidity environments, such as wastewater treatment plants and chemical facilities.
