Good corrosion resistance. FRP has good resistance to atmosphere, water and general concentrations of acids, alkalis, salts, as well as a variety of oils and solvents. In many fields such as chemical anti-corrosion, it is replacing carbon steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, etc.
Good electrical performance. FRP is an excellent insulating material that can be used to make insulators. It retains good dielectric properties at high frequencies. Microwave transmittance is good, and it has been widely used in radar radomes.
Good thermal performance. The thermal conductivity of FRP is low, and the temperature is 1.25~1.67kJ/(m·h· K), only 1/100~1/1000 of the metal, is an excellent thermal insulation material, in the case of instantaneous ultra-high temperature, is an ideal thermal protection and ablation resistant material.
Good designability. (1) A variety of structural products can be flexibly designed according to the needs of the product, and the product can maintain good integrity; (2) The product performance can be met by selecting materials, such as: corrosion resistance, instantaneous high temperature resistance, special high strength on a certain reverse of the product, good dielectric properties, etc. (3) The expansion screw is used for fixing the end face of the cover, which can be designed to be detachable for daily operation.
