Advantage：

Shortcoming:
1. It cannot be placed in height-restricted areas.
2. The height is higher than the horizontal type.
3. Operation and maintenance are not as convenient as horizontal towers.
Application:
1. Often placed in places where the height of the ground or roof is not limited.
2. Towers that should adopt counter current operation, such as stripping towers, should be vertical.
Horizontal scrubber
Advantage:
1. Easy operation and maintenance.
2. Easy access to air ducts and piping
3. The placement location is not restricted by height.
4. The pressure loss is slightly smaller than that of the vertical type.
Shortcoming:
1. The efficiency is slightly lower than that of vertical tower.
2. The circulating water volume is slightly larger than that of the vertical type.
3. The air flow is prone to turbulence without filler.
4. The water-blocking effect of the defogger is not as good as that of the vertical type.
Application:
1. Can be placed indoors and outdoors without space restrictions.
2. Suitable for multi-tower parallel system.
3. It is widely used in the electronics industry.
