An FRP tower, or Fiber Reinforced Plastic tower, is a structural element primarily composed of a composite material consisting of reinforcing fibers. FRP towers are valued for their lightweight nature, ease of installation, and adaptability to specific design requirements, making them a versatile choice for applications where traditional materials may be susceptible to corrosion or degradation.

The applications and functions of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) can be categorized into the following types:

1. Desulfurization Tower

This process is used to eliminate harmful gases, such as sulfur dioxide (SO₂), from industrial emissions, Flue gas desulfurization is primarily utilized in industries such as power plants, steel mills, and chemical manufacturing facilities.

2. Washing Tower

The purification of pollutants from gases occurs through the interaction between liquids and gases. This system is effective in removing acidic gases, particulate matter, and other harmful substances.

3. Deodorization Tower

Specially designed to eliminate odors, these products are commonly utilized in sewage treatment plants, waste management facilities, and similar environments. It effectively eliminates odor-causing substances, including ammonia and hydrogen sulfide.

4. Drying Tower

Used for drying gases or liquids in chemical processes. Commonly used in processes such as the drying of chlorine and bromine gases.

5. Absorption Tower

Removing specific components from gases using chemical reactions or physical adsorption techniques. This includes ammonia absorption towers, carbon dioxide absorption towers, and others.

6. Packing Tower

Internally filled with fillers to enhance the gas-liquid contact area, this system is utilized for gas purification and liquid separation, commonly found in the petrochemical and chemical industries.

7. Cooling Tower

Used for cooling industrial equipment and systems. Heat dissipation through the interaction between water and air is employed in power plants, factories, and various industrial applications.

8. Acid Mist Purification Tower

Specially designed to treat acid mist exhaust gases, this technology is widely utilized in industries such as electroplating and acid washing.

9. Gas-Liquid Separation Tower

The system is designed to separate gases from liquids, ensuring that the emitted gases meet established standards.

10. Multifunctional Tower

Combining multiple functions, including absorption, deodorization, and purification. They are customized products tailored to meet specific process requirements.

Due to their corrosion resistance, lightweight nature, high strength, and flexible design, fiberglass towers can be further optimized to meet the specific requirements of various industries.
