A. Selection of raw materials
The raw materials used in FRP grating are resin, FRP fiber, and filler calcium powder in a ratio of 1:1:1. High-quality FRP grating uses high-quality resin: unsaturated o-phenyl resin 196, which is colorless and transparent. . Low viscosity, low heat release, low shrinkage, high speed curing, high speed compatibility, bright gloss. The produced fiberglass grating is flat and smooth, has good gloss, high strength and a certain degree of toughness. If you use inferior resin, it will be exactly the opposite. Inferior resin is turbid, has high viscosity, high heat release, high shrinkage, relatively slow curing, and poor compatibility. The fiberglass reinforced plastic grating produced has many pores, is easy to break, and has poor strength. Toughness is not good.
In the fiberglass grating, the fiberglass fiber can enhance the toughness of the grating. High-quality fiberglass fiber wire, such as alkali-free fiberglass fiber wire, is stronger than steel wire and has certain toughness, chemical stability, good weather resistance, almost no water absorption and will not burn when exposed to fire. Its high strength can also be used as tire cord.
The filler of FRP grating is calcium powder or aluminum powder. The high-quality filler powder is fine and white, flame retardant, and fully integrated with the resin. The produced board has beautiful color, good transparency and high toughness. On the contrary, inferior filling powder is rough and dull, not flame retardant, and the produced boards have no gloss, are relatively brittle and have no toughness.
B. Comparison of finished products
High-quality FRP grating products have no obvious cracks in appearance, fewer pores, bright and pure colors, good transparency, certain toughness, high strength, good surface finish, and long service life; while inferior FRP grating products have cracks in appearance. There are many pores, the color is impure and the gloss is not enough. Its service life is also shorter.
Although fiberglass grating cannot completely replace steel grating, it can completely make up for the conditions or areas that steel grating cannot meet. It fully reduces the non-capacity burden of the steel grating and also provides people with another solution to the problem. Its appearance has become a powerful supplement to steel grating.
